Thought Leader: 2020s
When I left my corporate career, I returned to my academic roots to study human development and began focusing in the intersection of machine and human intelligence. I received teacher certifications in leadership team development and mindfulness.
My framework for NextGen Thinking incorporates 25 years of knowledge, wisdom, and executive experience.
Aspiring Executive: 2000s and 2010s
I climbed the corporate ladder to become a Managing Director in financial services. I started my career in Insurance before spending 16 years in Investment Banking and then moved to Private Equity.
Today, I continue my corporate leadership as a Board Director and advisor to C-Suite Leadership teams and start-ups.
Ambitious Student: 1990s
I am the first person in my family to get a university degree. My parents taught me that continuous learning and a solid education were key to success.
I earned my Sociology degree and Human Development certificate at Duke University and then received my MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Information Systems from The Wharton School.
Shy Child: 1970s and 1980's
I am the oldest of 3 children and was a quiet, extremely shy child who spent hours alone in my room dreaming up stories, writing, and drawing.
By my teenage years, I had come out of my shell, found my way behind the camera lens, and volunteered at the local hospital.
